Alan Bennett's brilliant History Boys makes a triumphant crossover from stage to screen. The story follows an unruly class of bright, history students in pursuit of sex, sport and an undergraduate place at Oxford or Cambridge. Their journey becomes as much about how education works as it is about where education leads. A tremendous cast deliver terrific performances in a probing comic drama that’s both slightly traditional and very witty.
